The hand 

Miracle - the underrated word
Often mistaken for luck
But which suddenly manifests in the nick of time
It could sometimes be missed and thus dismissed
And then the accolades go to the stars or to goodness! Oh I thank my stars! Or thank goodness! They say.
But some of us know that there is "A hand"

The average mind never fully understands it. The more they look the less they see. It scorns and derides logic, and so they conclude it is the universe shinning its luck on them. Yet the supernatural smiles at them sometimes, the hand which controls it all. It understands they sometimes don't deserve the intervention, but allows it for the greater glory

A miracle is that light of hope suddenly shining when the tunnel experience gets tiring and seemingly endless. A clear indication that there is triumph ahead and giving up means losing all

A miracle is that little smile evolving from a dejected face, whose case has been written off.
A miracle is that one word spoken by the one concluded to be speech impaired.
A miracle is that step taken by wobbly legs
A miracle is that gift of love to the dejected.
A miracle is often prayed for but unexpected at the time it becomes palpable.

A miracle is when a home is established in a few months, crushing delay and stagnancy. Every party is barely prepared but the sovereign says it is time. Every move becomes unstoppable and every knocked door becomes accessible. Suddenly the heavens are opened and every prayer seems to just be waiting to be said to receive instant answers

It comes with a positive confusion. Leaving you in perpetual awe. It defies the norm and only those who know "The hand" can comprehend. The effect sometimes leaves you with having enemies, especially those who are logical.  They cannot understand why the process is interrupted.  No explanation can suffice.  It is not meant to be this way they say.  But you know, beyond a doubt, first because it is not your first miracle and also because you believe.  Albeit, you are yet to absorb it all as well, but you know that there is "A hand" working your miracle. And you are convinced that trying to understand it will be a complete waste of time. You just continue to bask in the grandeur and giving thanks to the right one, not the stars, not goodness, but the sovereign God!
